1. School Beliefs

o       We went over an activity that helped define what the SCC belief statements were for the school.  This is in preparation for the accreditation that our school will be going through

2. School Improvement plan

o       We discussed last year’s school improvement plan and possible changes. 

·        We specifically discussed the Loading and Unloading zone of our school.  There were concerns about the safety of students that have to cross after school and during school events in the evening.

·        We decided that we did all we could concerning having additional crosswalks placed around the school.  The Mapleton Police Department said that they will only place crosswalks on corners.

·        We discussed the success of 7^th grade day and a desire to continue that next year.  We also talked about the possibility of the district adopting it district wide.  Mr. Johnson talked about how our administration presented this to the school board
